Kazimir Malevich (Казими́р Севери́нович Мале́вич). Woman Worker, 1933 (State Russian Museum, Saint Petersburg).

Oil on canvas: 71.7 x 59.8 cm. In the final years of his life Malevich returned to figurative painting. The suprematist colour scheme remained. This work is sometimes interpreted as depicting a mother who has had her child taken away.
